A search engine is a web application that usually comes with a website where as web browser is a stand alone application which we need to run that search engine application.
Few web browsers are as : mozilla firefox, google chrome, safari, microsoft edge, internet explorer,
opera etc.
Few search engines are such as : google, yahoo, bing, rediff, Aol etc.
A browser is a software that installed in our system let us access or browse over internet. Here we can browse and view websites, web applications running on different technologies. browser have there own predefined set of rules to gives us best result. Browsers updates time to time for gives us the latest technical experiences.
A search engine is running under specific mechanism that crawling and gives us result when we look for or type any keyword. Using data analytics the modern search engines behave much more accurate. It also gives us search suggestions when we started typing in search bar. Most of search engines running advertisement to show paid results on top of there search results.
