How search results got afftected after Google's core update

How google core update affects our website search rankings

Recently google has updated its core algorithm which we known as google core update in march 2018. But how it affects the search properties of those sites which are not even updated since 2 or more years. Are they are going down in search engine ranking page or still going there position secured.

Now we are having a official update announcement from google about there core algorithm updation. and the company claims with any type of recent or previous update, any site may note drops or gains there search appearance value. Additionally there is nothing wrong with the websites or web pages that may now not perform well as they do before. In addition google says there is nothing webmasters can do to fix their sites if they dropped in rankings. And this not the first time google has been updated they are updating this several times a year to give best result to the viewer.

This is what they said in there official twitter handle as Google SearchLiasion. But many of us still bothered about the results we got after the updation. even we have noticed the pages are getting down and down in few hours after the updation.

We started an inspection with our few webmaster accounts and few saved results from last 2 years data. We found few of them got down but few have reached up. after analyzing long we concluded on this : google has downgrade the pages that have few duplicate contents where as upgraded the pages that have strong contents and 1000s inbound links.

What about the static html sites that has not been updated from last year ?

Glad to see all have upgraded in search result page. as they have passed the googles criteria which they mentioned on this release note.
